Arka Goshala

The Goshala is the heart and soul of Arka Acres. Everything we grow, teach, and celebrate flows from the Vedic principle of caring for cows, nurturing the land naturally, and living in harmony with nature. Our cows are not simply farm animals — they are cherished family.

Why cows are at the center

Everything on the property flows from the Vedic principles of caring for cows, nurturing the land naturally, and living in harmony with nature.

  • In Vedic culture, the cow is honored as a symbol of selfless giving, gentleness, and abundance — a living teacher of compassion.
  • We care for indigenous Bos Indicus cows, prized for their hardiness, gentle temperament, and the quality of their milk and dung.
  • Cow care and protection guide our daily rhythm — clean shelter, wholesome feed, open pasture, and unhurried human connection.
  • Every guest is welcomed inclusively, whatever their background, to experience the calm and joy that time with cows can bring.
